History
Established by the Federal Government of Nigeria on November 9th, 1999 after an understanding with the Kogi State Government to release the General Hospital, Lokoja to the former for upgrade to a Federal Medical Centre status.
Hospital Facilities
The hospital is equipped with various equipments and facilities designed to improve healthcare, including Well-equipped standard wards, male surgical wards, dental department, ICU, dialysis units.
Structure
Has a Board of Management, appointed by the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. The Medical Director as the Administrative head. There are two Directorates, Clinical Services headed by Head of Clinical Services and Administrative Services headed by the Director of Administration.
